As mountaineers, we are always dependent on the weather and we need to align the climb with the terrain conditions, the fitness, technical ability and mental state of the group, when selecting it and while climbing.

As I am not yet a professional mountain guide, I don’t have the legal capacity to take responsibility for the group or to offer a professional guiding service. Each one engaging in this adventure with me hence takes its own responsibilities. During our mountain expedition, all decisions will be made together, taking into account the conditions, the advice of the hut wardens and local climbers, and everyone’s physical and mental state. We’ll assess these factors as a group before each climb and throughout the outing to ensure together everyone’s safety.

It is nevertheless always possible to hire a professional mountain guide on any climb, which I am more than happy to arrange.

Finally, this adventure aims to connect with Nature, others and to respect and protect the environment we evolve in. We will thus follow the leave no trace guidelines, avoid mechanical lifts and care about the ecosystem we traverse and the people we share this adventure with.
